Hey there, Poptropicans! Invisible Ring has returned, and this time, I have a guest post that will get you guys’ attention, big-time. This post is all about the POPTROPICA TRIBES!
What are Poptropica tribes, you ask? They are a lot like the fraternities and sororities that you join in a university. They are unions open to one and all and it’s up to YOU to choose which one you want to join. You’ve got the Wildfires, Black Flags, Nightcrawlers, Nanobots, Yellowjackets, Pathfinders, Seraphim, and Flying Squid.
Where did they come from, you ask? Good question! In the years prior to the flash-haxe conversion, there was an island known as the Poptropolis Games! There, you could choose a tribe, get a jersey, and let the games begin!
However, the tribes weren’t just on that one island. Years ago, when the old friends page and store were still available, there was a place where you could switch your tribe AND join tribal common rooms!
But there’s more! Back in Night Watch island, you got to make hats with your tribal logo on them! This shot was taken at the end of 2020, right before Flash gave out. As you can see, I am a member of the Seraphim Tribe. Always have and always will be.
Veterans, you know what I am talking about here, so here’s a question for you. Which tribe were YOU on? I’m sure some of you may have switched tribes from time to time, but which one is your favorite? As for the rest of you who are new to this tribal news, which tribe do YOU wanna be on and why? PS. This is just a thought that I heard on a Poptropica blog comment, but I think it would be GREAT to have some tribal-themed decor to put in our clubhouses. Especially now, now that I have a few friends who are turning their clubhouses into their very own custom tribal common rooms!
